CNG association calls for strike in Punjab

ISLAMABAD:

The All Pakistan CNG Association has called a strike, for an indefinite period, in all of Punjab, beginning April 13.

Association Chairman Ghayas Abdullah Paracha said compressed natural gas (CNG) stations were not being provided with gas. He informed that instead of increasing supply, the government was planning to decrease it further.

Additionally, all petrol pumps in Lahore will also be shut down on April 13, preventing sale of petroleum products to customers.

He demanded improved gas supply to stations, an end to unfair practices, and higher margins for dealers, adding that CNG stations would remain closed till the association’s demands are met.
