Sub-inspector laid to rest

The funeral prayers of Sub-Inspector Abdul Karim Chohan, who was killed on Thursday night, were offered at the Garden police headquarters on Friday.
Chohan was killed by unidentified men late at night at Hawkes Bay Road near Musharraf Colony.
He lived in the Sachal Goth area and was in charge of the Hawkes Bay check-post. Sindh Inspector-General Fayyaz Leghari and the chief of police Saud Mirza attended the funeral prayers.
Leghari met Chohan’s family and promised to recruit his son immediately.
The policeman’s salary will be paid to his family until he would have reached the age of retirement and they will receive compensation.
Chohan’s body was later sent to Moro for burial.
