Youth skills to strengthen economy

After the completion of training e-Rozgaar centers, selected 10,000 freelancers would earn at least $30 per day

The e-Rozgaar Centers established in various universities of Punjab would provide an opportunity to the educated youth to utilize their skills in technical, non-technical and creative designing areas under the guidance of highly professional trainers for strengthening the national economy.

This was stated by the founding Vice Chancellor of Information Technology University (ITU) Dr Umar Saif while inaugurating the 6th eRozgaar Center at the University of Punjab, Jhelum Campus under the joint project of Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and Youth Affairs, Sports, Archeology & Tourism (YASAT)’s.


PM Youth Programme: NAVTTC to train 100,000 youth 

He said that after the completion of training in these centers, the selected 10,000 freelancers would earn at least $30 per day amounting to Rs100,000 per month through website designing, copy editing, proof reading, writing software and articles, thus could generate Rs36 billion for the country. He said that there was a need to clean the educational institutions from politics and to focus on education.
