Opposition leader raises issue in PA

Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed asked CM regarding progress on the case and whether or not the accused have been arrested

LAHORE: Opposition leader Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed on Wednesday submitted a call attention notice in the Punjab Assembly regarding the death of a domestic helper due to torture at the house of a PML-N MPA.



The opposition leader asked the Punjab Chief Minster Shehbaz Sharif whether it was true that a minor domestic helper was allegedly tortured to death in the house of a PML-N MPA. He also asked him if the sister of the deceased was also tortured.



Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed asked the CM about the progress on the case and whether or not the accused have been arrested.
