According to a statement released by the varsity on Sunday, the main event would feature a large cake being cut at the campus. It would follow a day-long funfair.
Stalls at the fair would feature wares by university students, apart from information stalls about the departments, civil society organisations and embassies.

The event would also feature the inauguration of the Quaid-i-Azam Corner at its central library.
Students would also present dramas to mark the anniversary. It would be followed by a musical evening, organised by the QAU Alumni Association.
A large number of alumni, diplomats, government officials and students from across the country are expected to participate in the event.
