FAISALABAD:
China is a huge market and is expanding at a much faster pace, which gives Pakistan an opportunity to double its exports by exploiting Chinese markets, said Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) Acting President Ahmad Hasan. During a meeting with Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCJCCI) Secretary General Salahuddin, he said that the total volume of bilateral trade between Pakistan and China was $20 billion and economic stability in China had not only increased per capita income but also enhanced purchasing power of the Chinese. “We should immediately concentrate on this market to fully capitalise on this opportunity,” Hasan added. He said that Pakistani industrialists should focus on the SME sector of China as it is very huge and they could easily get a reasonable partner from it.
