Liverpool will play three matches in Asia in July as part of a pre-season tour that will take in China, Malaysia and Korea.
The Premier League side will play one match in Guangzhou, China, then travel to Kuala Lumpur before playing their final fixture in Seoul. Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard was excited at the prospect of playing in Asia.
“Whenever we go to Asia, the fans are always amazing,” said Gerrard.
“The supporters over there are fanatical about Liverpool.” The club has a large Asian fan-base and toured the continent in 2009.
