PU, Amal sign MoU on skill development

The programme focuses on developing job skills

LAHORE: Punjab University Department of Information Management (DoIM) and Amal Academy have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to run Amal Academy’s career-prep fellowship programme initially funded by Stanford University for the students of DoIM.

New programme in Pakistan aims to empower women through digital skills bootcamps

In this regard, an MoU signing ceremony was held at the committee room of the VC’s office in which PU VC Dr Zafar Mueen Nasir, DoIM Chairperson Dr Kanwal Ameen, Director External Linkages Dr Fauzia Hadi Ali, Amal Academy Chief Executive Officer Benje Williams and Ali Siddique were present on the occasion.

17,000 youths to sharpen skills

The programme focuses on developing job skills including communication, interviewing and CV writing, and on moulding the mindset of students entering the job market. The collaboration will result in convenient and consistent venue for PU and other students to participate in the programme.
