New recruits to attend eight-week training
The process has already been started by the provincial government

All the newly-inducted teachers and officers in Punjab will undergo an eight-week training before joining schools and the process has already been started by the provincial government.
This was stated by Punjab School Education (SED) Secretary Dr Allah Baksh Malik on Thursday.
Anti-Corruption Establishment to set up training school, forensic lab
Speaking to The Express Tribune, he said that the provincial government would ensure that the teachers and officers in all 36 districts of the province were fully prepared before joining their duties. He added that the department had already initiated the training for the Assistant Education Officers (AEOs). The secretary said that the AEOs’ training was initiated on Thursday, while the training of the Educators would also be started soon.
Govt to set up training centres at school level
For Educators, he said that the training would commence from July 10. He added, “The best master trainers have been engaged to mentor the newly-recruited academics and the training has been started at the Quaid e Azam Academy for Education Development (QAED) formerly Directorate of Staff Development (DSD).”
Dr Malik said that the chief minister was also taking keen interest in the training of the new recruits and was personally monitoring the teachers’ training through QAED.
