Mark Cavendish sprinted to victory in the 200-km one-day Scheldeprijs Classic in Belgium.
The victory is the Manx cyclist’s first in Europe in 2011.
He delivered a trademark finish to overcome Denis Galimzyanov and Yauheni Hutarovich.
“The team did a perfect job, chasing down the break and then getting me to the front as they always do,” said the 25-year-old.
The victory is the HTC-Highroad rider’s third career title at the event.
