PESHAWAR:
In a bid to present a more friendly face of police to tourists visiting scenic valleys of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, the provincial Tourism Corporation (TCK-P) has trained officials to provide better facilities to domestic and foreign tourists.

Officials were trained in Swat and Abbottabad. The training was provided under the aegis of Pak-Austrian Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management in cooperation with the TCKP with a special focus on quickly addressing problems and providing better facilities to tourists during peak tourism season.

The TCKP said that policemen were trained to control traffic, control emergency situations and how to behave and interact with tourists apart from image building techniques.
