Your Stars Today

Aries | March 20 – April 18

There’s a difference between standing your ground, which is vital, and being drawn into arguments, which would achieve nothing. Whatever the situation, and there will be a range of them, you’re urged to state clearly what you expect. While, obviously, discussions are crucial, they can wait until the mood’s calmer.

Taurus | April 19 – May 19

When your ruler Venus moved into Taurus about a month ago, you began a cycle of both questioning and exploration. While you learnt a lot and made a few changes, you’re still weighing up others. Now that your focus has shifted to practicalities, you’ll find those decisions easier to make.

Gemini | May 20 – June 20

If you’re uneasy about certain financial or business arrangements, it’s no surprise. This sense of concern or the need to make changes is being triggered by the Full Moon, on Sunday. By then you’ll have recognised which issues are, indeed, mere feelings and which need time, attention and possibly a serious rethink.

Cancer | June 21 – July 21

Don’t be surprised if you’re more forthright than usual. You’re benefiting from the influence of Mars, which moved into Cancer a month ago and remains there until 20 July. Reflect on how much you’ve accomplished. It’s probably impressive. Better yet, it will give you the boost necessary to tackle any remaining objectives.

Leo | July 22 – August 21

Although the Full Moon isn’t until Sunday, you, and those around you, are probably already experiencing emotional highs and lows. That’s because this accents certain existing frustrating situations. Tempting as it is to handle them as swiftly as possible, work through them slowly and you’ll deal with them all, together and for good.

Virgo | August 22 – September 21

Since straightforward discussion hasn’t achieved much, you’ve wisely resorted to conducting a charm offensive. This means winning others over on the basis of a warm, and workable, alliance and thinking about those facts later. While, to you, as a Virgo, that may seem dishonest, at the moment, it’s the best option.

Libra | September 22 – October 22

In early June your ruler Venus moved to accent joint ventures in general and any practical matters involving you and others specifically. While you’ve dealt with many of these, one or two more complicated ones remain. Tackle them now, before Venus moves to a new position, and your focus shifts along with it.

Scorpio | October 23 – November 21

This is one of those perplexing periods during which, for every couple of steps forward, you’ll take at least one backwards. View these inevitable setbacks, whatever their form, as nothing more than part of this process and, instead of being a source of concern, you’ll recognise them as steps along the journey.

Sagittarius | November 22 – December 20

You can be as moody as anybody else. It’s just that, as a resilient fire sign, you tend not to dwell on doubts, so those grim feelings don’t last long. Still, the ups and downs you’re experiencing now, in the run up to Sunday’s emotionally intense Full Moon, are worth reflecting on.

Capricorn | December 21 – January 18

This hardly seems the ideal moment to plunge into a new pursuit, whether in your personal life or activities out in the world. Yet what’s coming your way is far too tempting to ignore. For now, commit only to exploring what’s on offer. Once you know more, you can consider what’s next.

Aquarius | January 19 – February 17

For ages you’ve been concerned that welcome but unsettling changes would upset certain already uptight individuals. Add the influence of this weekend’s emotionally intense Full Moon, and a storm could be brewing. While you can raise these in advance, the individuals in question are unlikely to recognise problems until after they’ve occurred.

Pisces | February 18 – March 19

You’ll discuss certain increasingly complex practical matters eventually. While, obviously, you’d rather get these out of the way, you’re short of facts and those involved aren’t ready to talk things over and probably won’t be until mid-month. Tackle issues at the right time, and you need do it only once.
