QUETTA: At least five people, including a woman, were killed in three separate incidents of firing in Balochistan on Saturday.

In Tambo Tehsil of Naseerabad district, Dur Mohammad, Jan Mohammad and Nazimudin opened indiscriminate fire on Gul Jan and her two brothers Ameer Jan and Ali Nawaz Magsi. The firing led to the death of three persons, including a sister of the gunmen, in the name of honour.

Balochistan: Five killed in separate road accidents

In another incident, unidentified men fired at a vehicle which resulted in the death of 40-year-old Mohammad Shah in Murga Zai area of Zhob district. The reason of the firing was claimed to be an old enmity.

Separately, unidentified assailants entered a house in Sohrab area of Kalat and opened fire on Nadir Ali who succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital. The reason behind the murder is not known yet.

Further investigation is underway in the three cases.
