Balochistan: Five killed in separate road accidents

Bodies were handed over to the heirs following medico-legal formalities

QUETTA: At least five people, including two brothers, were killed and four others were injured in separate accidents in Balochistan on Thursday.

A man was killed when hit by the Karachi-bound Bolan Mail Express in Sariab area of Quetta. The body, which remained unidentified, was shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta and kept in the mortuary.

Separately, a speeding van overturned in Kadhakocha area of district Mastung, killing two brothers— Liaqat Ali and Zeeshan. Another man, Rashid Ahmed, was injured in the accident.

In yet another road accident, a man named Riaz Ahmed was killed when a speeding van plunged into a drain.

One Saeed Ahmed was killed in a collision between two vehicles in Windar area of Balochistan while Abdul Shakoor, Owais and Ali were injured in the same accident.

The bodies were handed over to the heirs following medico-legal formalities.
