Brutal act: Man beats sister to death with bricks
Police arrested the suspect and registered a case against him
LAHORE:
A 30-year-old woman was beaten to death allegedly by her brother over some domestic dispute at her house in the Hanjarwal police jurisdiction on Friday.

According to Police Officer Abdul Razzaq, the suspect, identified as Sharafat Maseeh, had exchanged some harsh words with his sister named Farzana Bibi. In a fit of rage, the suspect assaulted the victim and hit her repeatedly with bricks, he said, adding the victim suffered severe injuries. Later, she was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors pronounced her dead. The woman was unmarried.
Investigation Officer Naeem of homicide cell Sabzazar circle said that they conducted the victim’s post mortem on Saturday. He added that motive behind the killing would be ascertained after further interrogation.

A police team reached the spot on information, collected forensic evidences from the crime scene and recorded statements of the witnesses.
