Electric Hazard: Mentally challenged man dies of shock

The body has been handed over to the family by police after a postmortem.

MULTAN: A mentally challenged man was electrocuted near Multan on Wednesday afternoon.  According to police officials, Ghareebabad resident Zafar Dharala, 55, had climbed up an electricity pole and was allegedly stealing electricity when he received a fatal shock. The impact of the shock caused the pole to fall crushing Zafar and killing him on the spot. The body has been handed over to the family by police after a postmortem.
