Abdul Majeed Achakzai’s remand extended

QUETTA: An anti-terrorism court in Quetta and judicial magistrate sent member of the Balochistan Assembly Abdul Majeed Achakzai on remand for seven days in two cases.

The police produced Achakzai in court on Thursday before judicial magistrate Shahnawz Langove after remanding him for five days for running over and killing a traffic police officer on duty at GPO Roundabout in Quetta on June 20.

The judicial magistrate extended the remand for another seven days.

Police also produced MPA Achakzai before the Anti-Terrorism Court Quetta in a kidnapping case registered in Satellite Town Police Station in 2009.

Pekhawar Khan | 7 years ago | Reply Why the remands and this and that? There's a video evidence which confirms he killed the man. Give him the sentence as per Pakistan Penal code, and get done with it already. And then the judiciary says why people dislike them?
