Police claim to have seized arms and drugs from the suspects

KARACHI: As many as 33 suspects were arrested in the city during Eidul Fitr. The police also claimed to have seized arms, ammunition and drugs from the supects.

An alleged drug peddler, identified as Qadir Zaman, was arrested during a raid conducted in Orangi Town by the Toori Bangash police. The police claimed to have recovered a large quantity of hashish from his possession.

The New Karachi police arrested a suspect, Ahsan, and seized arms from his possession. According to the police, he was involved in multiple cases of crime. A case was registered against him while further investigations are under way.

Two suspects, identified as Khalilullah and Ahmed Saeed, were arrested by the Mominabad police. The police claimed to have seized arms and ammunition from them.

In another raid, the Lyari police arrested two suspects, identified as Abdur Razzak and Abdul Ghafoor, in the Kalri area. The police claimed to have confiscated arms, ammunition and narcotics from them.

Meanwhile, the Baldia Town police claimed to have arrested at least 11 suspects. They were allegedly involved in gambling. Similarly, the Darakshan police arrested at least 16 suspects in different raids during Eid and seized arms and ammunitions from their possession. Cases have been registered against the suspects and further investigations are under way.
