Squash: Danish leapfrogs rankings
The 17-year-old from Peshawar started the year winning three tournaments in Iran.

Pakistan’s Danish Atlas has managed to climb 19 places in the Professional Squash Association (PSA) individual rankings in a span of two months. The 17-year-old from Peshawar started the year winning three tournaments in Iran during February and March before losing his first match of the year in the the Pakistan International Squash Circuit 1 last month against Mansoor Zaman in the quarter-final. “I’m working towards becoming the national champion first and that is my motivation,” said Atlas.
