JI chief expresses concern over terrorism

While speaking at an Iftar party in Gopal Nagar, he offered condolences to the families of those martyred in Quetta

LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami Acting Chief Liaqat Baloch expressed deep concern over the fresh wave of terrorism. He added anti-Pakistan forces were carrying out terrorism activities to support a “colonial agenda”.

While speaking at an Iftar party in Gopal Nagar, he offered condolences to the families of those martyred in Quetta and Parachinar and prayed for the quick recovery of the injured. He expressed hope in security forces in wiping out terrorism from the country.

He stressed on the need of uniting the Muslim Ummah, saying this could be achieved by feeling the agony of brothers in distress.

He said freedom was a right of the Palestinians and Kashmiris. “Until these issues are not resolved, world peace will remain a dream.”

He said world powers patronised Israel and were continuing their game to divide the Muslim world.
