According to an HEC notification, the University College Zhob will be a constituent college of the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences, Quetta and would offer four-year degree programmes in business administration, economics, computer sciences and information technology.
The Balochistan government has allotted a piece of land measuring 100 acres for the college and the federal government would construct infrastructure at a cost of Rs1.26 billion.

The second University College, to established in Dera Murad Jamali, will be a constituent college of the Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences, Uthal. The college would offer bachelors degree programmes in agricultural sciences, environmental sciences, education, sociology and computer sciences in its initial phase. The college would also offer diploma courses in livestock and dairy development and food technology/food sciences to youths in the region.
The Balochistan government had identified 500 acres of land in Dera Murad Jamali for the establishment of the college. The HEC would provide Rs1.50 billion for infrastructure development. The college was planned to be a model campus in the region to deal with the most-demanded technologies and research-oriented studies.
The HEC would provide necessary academic facilities at the temporary building to initiate the classes. It will also provide infrastructure and allied facilities at the permanent campus of the college for 800 to 1,000 students. Facilities like library, medical centre, sports centre and cafeteria will also be available.
