Police devise comprehensive security plan for Eid

CCPO ordered to conduct mock exercises to improve 15 emergency responses in case of any untoward incident

City Police had devised a plan to ensure security and control law and order situation, crime, one-wheeling and aerial firing during Eid days.

 

The plan was devised during a meeting held at Qila Gujjarsingh Police lines. The meeting was chaired by Capital City Police Officer Amin Wains and attended by DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf, DIG Security Dr Moen, DIG Investigations Chaudhry Sultan, SSP Investigations Ghulam Mubashir Maikan, SP Anti-Riot Muhammad Naveed, SP Mobiles Faisal Shahzad, SP CIA Tariq Mastoi, SP VVIP Security Fahad, SP Security Abadat Nisar, all divisional SPs, DPS and SHOs.


Traders demand more security ahead of Eid

According to the plan, CCPO ordered to conduct mock exercises to improve 15 emergency responses in case of any untoward incident. He also ordered the department concerned to conduct security audit and deploy contingents at important buildings according to their category and sensitivity. He also ordered police officers to control one-wheeling and aerial firing in their respective areas.
