Cleaning the mess: Liquor seized during search operations (Lahore city)

Police conducted a search operation in different areas of the district and recovered 85 litres of locally brewed liquor along with 3 active liquor brewing furnaces. Police also arrested 15 criminals and registered cases against them in their respective police stations.
In accordance with the National Action Plan, police condected search operations in the district including the city, Saddar Bahawalpur, Ahmadpur East, Yazman, Hasilpur and Kherpur Tamewali on directions of the District Police Officer Bahawalpur.
SDPOs of the respective areas supervised the search operations. Houses were searched by lady police officials and verification was done through biometric devices.
Police also conducted a raid on a brothel in Maqabool Colony where Muhammad Safdar, Asiya Bibi, Muhammad Waseem Akram, Shahnaz, Khalid, Naseem Bibi, Majid, and Shugufta Bibi were arrested. Cases were registered against them by the police.
Police conducted a raid in Tiba Badar Sher and arrested criminal Fida Hussain seizing 25 litre liquor and an active furnace. Ghulam Qadir was also arrested with 20 liter liquor and an active furnace while Abdul Hameed was arrested with 40 litre liquor.
