Easy excess: Bridges planned to connect court buildings

This was decided in a meeting of LBA cabinet members held on Sunday after all entry points were closed at civil courts for security purposes.

The LBA cabinet had sent a proposal to the Lahore High Court chief justice for approval and the construction work would start on bridges in the next few months, said LBA vice-president Chaudhary Irfan Sadiq Tarar while talking to The Express Tribune.

According to the cabinet members, it has become difficult for lawyers and litigants to reach their courts from one building to another building because of closure of most entrances points. Therefore, they have decided to constructed bridges to connect these building.

Therefore, lawyers and litigants find it very difficult to reach their concerned courts, he said, adding that keeping this situation in view they had decided to connect the buildings.
