Left-arm pacer developed back pain during practice before the match

Pakistan left-arm pacer Mohammad Amir might not be a part of the final eleven on Wednesday when Sarfraz Ahmed and co play against England in the semi-final of the 2017 Champions Trophy, Express News quoted sources.

Amir is believed to have developed back pain while participating in practice before the match. He was treated by the doctors but his inclusion is subject to recovery before the toss.

If he is not able to recuperate completely, left-arm pacer Rumman Raees will replace him in the team.

Meanwhile, sources also added that all-rounder Faheem Ashraf might be replaced with leg-spinner Shadab Khan against England.
