At least three policemen were martyred in a targeted attack in Quetta on Sunday.
According to sources, unidentified motorcyclists opened fired at a police check post in Gen area of Chakki Shahwani on Saryab Road of the provincial capital, resulting in the death of three police personnel.
The bodies were shifted to civil hospital.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zehri condemned the attack, and offered condolences to the families of the deceased.
Earlier this month, two members of the Hazara community were gunned down in the Spini area of Quetta.
On May 24, two Chinese nationals studying Urdu at a language centre in the Jinnah township of Quetta were abducted by gunmen disguised as police and then a video showing them dead went viral on social media.
