Women injured in cylinder blast

Cause of the blast was due to gas leakage from the pipe of cylinder

RAWALPINDI:
Two women were seriously injured after an LPG cylinder blew up in the kitchen of their home in Kohala village on Chakri Road.

The women, 32-year-old Atia sustained 80 per cent burns and 36-year-old Arzoo 70 per cent burns, were rushed to the Burns Unit of Holy Family Hospital by a team of Rescue 1122.


The rescuers had received an emergency call at about 4pm about the cylinder blast at the house.

Apparently, the cause of the blast was due to gas leakage from the pipe of cylinder.
