UNIDO, GCIP to support entrepreneurs

GCIP is supporting Pakistani entrepreneurs with the best ideas that deal with today’s most imperative challenges

RAWALPINDI: A two-member team of United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) called on RCCI President Raja Amer Iqbal Friday. Global Cleantech Innovation Programme (GCIP) National Project Coordinator Shahina Waheed led the delegation and appreciated RCCI’s role in promoting business activities and taking lead in new initiatives. Highlighting the role of UNIDO and GCIP, she said the prime objective was to assist the sustainable development process of industrial sector in Pakistan. She said GCIP is supporting Pakistani entrepreneurs with the best ideas that deal with today’s most imperative energy, environmental and economic challenges through a competition based approach.
