RAHIM YAR KHAN:

Bulls from Punjab and Sindh competed in a race organised at Yousufabad Adda near National Highway in Rahim Yar Khan.

Each pair of bulls was to complete three rounds of the ground. Pakhtun Ittehad leader Shamsher Khan was the chief guest on the occasion. He congratulated the organisers for arranging an event that projected the local culture. He said the event was important because it provided the villagers with an opportunity to spend time together. He awarded turbans to Rehman, Muhammad Aslam and Karim Bukhsh, the owners of the bulls securing the top three positions.

Rehman said he had prepared special diet for his bull so that it could be powerful enough to run along with the carts. He said he had been participating in the event for three years but this was the first time he had won an award. A large crowd of people had gathered to watch the bull race.
