PLEA : FPCCI seeks economic help from UK
FPCCI has urged the British premier to provide direct market access for Pakistani products on zero rate duty.

The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has urged the British premier to provide direct market access for Pakistani products on zero rate duty to help stabilise the country’s economy. FPCCI President Senator Haji Ghulam Ali and SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry Vice President Iftikhar Ali Malik have requested UK Prime Minister David Cameron to help Pakistan overcome economic difficulties by restoring its quota with other under-developed countries. “UK and US should buy products from industrial zones in Pakistan and help strengthen existing industrial zones with provision of modern infrastructure,” said Ali. He informed that the current economic crisis had affected poor countries greatly. Cameron is expected to visit Pakistan on April 5.
