Usage of ‘unnecessary’ routes during VIP movement has been banned in Islamabad. Directions for this were issued by Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Thursday. In a statement, Nisar said that instead of deploying police to guard against untoward incidents for every VIP movement, latest security methods should be used to ensure security.
