KARACHI:
The Karachi Transport Union has given a deadline of April 9 for the government to meet their demand to increase bus fares given that petrol and diesel are more expensive.
The union president, Irshad Bukhari, said that diesel prices have gone up by Rs17.50 in two months but fares have remained the same. If they are not increased to Rs5 per stop, then all vehicles will be grounded from April 10 onwards.
