Bureaucracy: Restoration of magistracy system
Sindh Government asks for recommendations from all members on which the Home Department will base a working paper.
KARACHI:
A five-member committee has been formed by the provincial government to suggest recommendations for the restoration of the magistracy system.
The chairman of the committee is Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqar Ali Mirza and other members include provincial minister for law Mohammad Ayaz Soomro, Syed Sardar Ahmed, Syed Ali Nawaz Shah and Imtiaz Ahmed Sheikh.
The provincial government, in a letter sent to the committee, has asked for recommendations after a consideration of opinions of all members.
The recommendations should then be mentioned in the working paper prepared by the Home Department.
The General Administration and Coordination Department of the Sindh government has sent a notice, reminding the chairman and other members of the committee that the issue is of prime importance and should be discussed at the next cabinet meeting.
