The University of Agriculture Faisalabad has emerged as 16th best university in Asia Pacific and best educational institution in Pakistan as per QS World University 2017 in the subjects of agriculture and forestry.

It was disclosed by UAF Vice Chancellor Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan while chairing the deans committee and steering committee meeting of US Pakistan Centre for Advanced Studies in Agriculture and Food Security at the syndicate room on Wednesday.
Chairing the session, Dr Iqrar said in 2016-17, the university has attained 665 research projects worth Rs2.5 billion whereas it has completed 1,001 projects worth Rs 2.3 billion in the previsions years.

He said the university had developed 101 innovations that would revolutionise the economy and make the agriculture sector sustainable, profitable and help open new business avenues for rural development and prosperity.
