First look of Bilal Ashraf and Urwa Hocane's 'Rangreza' is finally out

The much-awaited teaser of the Urwa Hocane, Bilal Ashraf and Gohar Rasheed-starrer Rangreza is finally out!

With the soulful track by Abida Parveen playing in the background, the 40 second video merely introduce the lead cast of the upcoming movie in such a way so as to shed light on their respective characters.

Bilal, the Janaan star, makes a typical chocolate boy entrance, walking dreamily in a purple kurta, while Gohar is seen in yet a very different avatar.

After them comes the Parvati-isque Urwa who is apparently waiting for one of the two boys. Who, we don't yet know. But the Udaari actor's attire and posture looks seems very much inspired from Devdas' Paro.

“It’s a love story that will revolve around the fusion of classical qawwali and modern pop music,” the director, Amir Mohiuddin, had previously said of Rangreza.

In an earlier interview with The Express Tribune, Gohar revealed that he was busy shooting for the film, which he described as "a musical love story."

“I am very excited about Rangreza because there haven’t been any musical movies produced after Sargam,” he shared. “I play a qawwal in the film, portraying the struggled musicians in our society face," said the Mann Mayal star.

Produced by Yasir Mohiuddin and Usman Malkani and written by Akhtar Qayyum, Rangreza is slated to release on December 21st this year.

CharlieChapatti | 6 years ago | Reply What an awful trailer. 3 posers wafting around in slow motion that generated zero desire in me to watch the movie itself. I've seen more artistry and imagination in a shampoo commercial.
