The makers of blockbuster Jawaani Phir Nahi Aani makers are back with another romantic flick!

Starring Humayun Saeed, Mehwish Hayat and Urwa Hocane, Punjab Nahi Jaungi’s first teaser is out and it looks promising. The vibrant colours, dhol walas and shaadi music makes the viewers excited for the upcoming wedding season. The teaser shows Humayun donning a groom avatar and entering his wedding event on a horse carriage. Mehwish looks like a typical desi girl as she dances with him.

Speaking to The Express Tribune earlier, Humayun and Mehwish talked about their sizzling on-screen chemistry.

“She is a wonderful actor and working with her is always a delight. Our last project together Dillagi received a phenomenal response and I am looking forward to working with her again,” Humayun said, while speaking about his working relationship with Mehwish.

An excited Mehwish said,I am extremely excited about being cast in Punjab Nahin Jaongi. It’s my third collaborative project with Nadeem and Humayun. The script by Khalil is definitely a cherry on the top. I can’t disclose much about my role yet but I can say that people who loved JPNA and DillagiPunjab Nahin Jaongi will be a treat for them.”

Punjab Nahin Jaongi also marks the third collaboration between Humayun, Mehwish and director Nadeem Baig. Khalilur Rehman has penned the movie’s script.

Earlier reports were that Iman Ali has been roped in for the movie but was later replaced by Urwa.

The Udaari star began her film debut with Na Maloom Afraad and the actor has been on a roll ever since. She is also working on two other upcoming Pakistani films Rangreza and Jhol.
