“He surrendered along with the pistol with which he killed the young girl,” A-Section police station SHO Naek Muhammad Khoso said. According to him, Mallah suspected that his daughter was involved with a man.

The police are yet to register FIR of the incident. According to the SHO, if the family does not become the complainant in the case, then the FIR will likely to be registered on the state’s complaint after the post-mortem report.

Honour for whom? Killing a young girl of 18 for showing interest in boys? What right he has to take anybody’s life? There are evil people all around, but in Pakistan there are many who sympathise with the killer for saving his ‘honour’. It is getting worse by the day. I feel ashamed.Recommend

It is very normal for young girls to show interest in boys.It does not mean that they should be shot dead .We have to respect life.Recommend
