Reforms introduced for better health service: CM Gilgit-Baltistan
Says reforms have been introduced in Rescue 1122 and other emergency services for effective health service

Gilgit-Baltistan Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman said on Friday that reforms have been introduced in Rescue 1122 and other emergency services for better and effective health service delivery system in the region.
He said the problem of shortage of staff in Rescue 1122 and other emergency services had been addressed and all the required financial resources were provided, resulting in improvement in its overall performance.
Speaking to a delegation of Pakistan Red Crescent Society the CM said provision of clean drinking water to people was the topmost priority of his government and for this purpose several projects of clean drinking water have been started in the region . These projects had started in Jotian, Kondas and other areas. The chief minister directed the health secretary to conduct scientific survey of reports against spread of appendicitis cases at Chamoghar area and directed for thorough investigation and necessary precautionary measures.
