Ex-Senator says a modern, well-equipped hospital would be constructed for people from Bara Tehsil in Khyber Agency.
PESHAWAR:
Ex-Senator Nasir Khan Afridi said on Sunday that a modern, well-equipped hospital would be constructed to cater to the needs of the people from Bara Tehsil in Khyber Agency.
He was addressing the third anniversary of the late leader of Khyber Union Javed Afridi on Sunday.
Afridi said that provision of health facilities to the people was his mission and in this connection concrete steps would be taken. He said that many precious lives have been lost due to lack of health facilities in the area. A modern hospital would certainly fulfill the health needs of the tribesmen.
On the occasion, members of Khyber Union and others passed a unanimous resolution demanding the stoppage of drone attacks in Fata. The participants urged for resolution of disputes through dialogue instead of using force.
