NAB arrests Customs appraiser
The accused has the ownership of 14 kanals and nine marlas land near DHA Lahore.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Thursday arrested Principal Appraiser Customs Iftikhar Cheema from for making up illegal assets. According to a NAB spokesman, the accused has the ownership of 14 kanals and nine marlas land near DHA Lahore, one kanal plot in Johar Town and 12 kanals 10 marlas land near Johar Town besides possessing millions of rupees in bank accounts.

The NAB launched verifications against the accused in 2016 following a complaint received through intelligence sources and a proper inquiry was launched in 2016. After collecting evidences against the accused, the NAB arrested and presented him before the Accountability Court for acquiring his physical remand which was granted till June 8.
