Football: Women championship starts Apr 15
The championship that will be hosted in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar.
KARACHI:
A total of 24 teams will lock horns for the top honours at the National Women Football Club Championship starting from April 15 simultaneously in four zones.
The championship that will be hosted in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar will also act as a qualifying event for the National Championship as the top two teams from each zone will get berths for September’s event.
The four qualifiers last year were Frontier College of Peshawar, Karachi’s Diya FC, Lahore’s Sport Sciences and Rawalpindi’s Young Rising Star.
