Lorenzo wins Spanish MotoGP

Spanish World Champion Jorge Lorenzo of Yamaha won the Spanish Grand Prix, the second leg of the world championship, after seeing off Dani Pedrosa and Nicky Hayden.
Rainy conditions helped give rise to a number of hair-raising incidents, including a spectacular fall on the seventh lap by Valentino Rossi while Casey Stoner also came off his bike.
Ben Spies of Yamaha found it hard as he ended up in the gravel having stood second at one stage.
Marco Simoncelli of Honda also crashed, as Lorenzo finished 19.4sec clear of Pedrosa
