A fire broke out in a dye factory in Jehangirabad at 11:30 pm. The cause of the fire is said to be a short circuit. By the time the fire brigade reached the site, the blaze had engulfed the entire factory and barrels of chemicals exploded. It took 50 firemen three-and-a-half hours to extinguish the fire.
