Education: Nine schools to hire computer teachers

Executive district officer says school computer labs would also be upgraded.

MULTAN: Nine schools of the Multan district will recruit computer science teachers and the education department has sought applications from candidates by April 20.

Executive district officer (EDO) Education Javed Afzal said, on Saturday, that the school computer labs would also be upgraded.  Candidates for the teaching posts must have a BSc or MSc degree with a BEd degree.

“We will be recruiting seven teachers for the boys’ high schools and two for the girls’ schools,” Afzal said.

The schools include looking to hire computer teachers include Government CTM High School, Ismailabad, Government High School, Sanbhal, Government High School, Jhok Lashkarpur, High School, Jhallar, High School, Nauraja Bhutta (Jalalpur Pirwala), Islamia High School, Daulat Gate, Pilot Secondary School, Government Muslim Girls High School and Government Girls High School, Suraj Miani.

Selected candidates will be given 30 per cent of their pay as social security allowance instead of a pension.
