By the book: Nine buildings demolished, four sealed

Buildings demolished and sealed in PIA Housing Scheme for violation of building bylaws.

LAHORE: The Town Planning Wing of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Saturday demolished nine buildings in PIA Housing Scheme and sealed another four on the main boulevard of the said scheme for violations of the building bylaws.

The four buildings on the main boulevard had residential building plans but they were being constructed to be used for commercial purposes. These were Plot No 9-G, 16-F, 410-E and 40-B/1. The other nine buildings were demolished because their building plans had not been approved by the authority.
