The city government has sealed the Quaidabad graveyard after residents complained that it was overcrowded. They have allocated 52 acres of land for a new graveyard in Liaquatabad instead. The municipal services spokesperson explained that the graveyard has no space for new graves and the city has advised undertakers to have themselves registered before April 15. He also called for the main gates of respective graveyards to be repaired by then. Unregistered undertakers will be suspended, he added.
