Pakistan Navy warship in Singapore event
The ship participated in International Maritime Review 2017
Pakistan Navy Ship ZULFIQUAR with embarked helicopter (Alouette) recently undertook goodwill cum training visit of Singapore and participated in Republic of Singapore Navy’s (RSN) 50th anniversary celebrations.
During its stay at Singapore port, the ship actively participated in International Maritime Review (IMR) 2017, International Maritime Defence Exhibition Asia (IMDEX) 2017 and Maritime Information Sharing Exercise 2017.
Upon arrival off Singapore, Pakistan Navy warship was welcomed by Republic of Singapore Navy Ship GALLANT and after anchoring off Changi Naval Base, the ship was warmly received by Defence Attache of Pakistan and Singapore Navy officials.
Chinese naval commander appreciates PN for collaborative security in Indian Ocean
Commander Pakistan Fleet Vice Admiral Kaleem Shoukat along with commanding officer attended various events in connection with RSN 50th anniversary celebrations. These included opening ceremony of IMDEX Asia-17 and International Maritime Security Conference.
The visit provided ample opportunity to Pakistan Navy officers to learn through professional interactions with their counterparts from 21 participating navies.
