WWF Deputy Director says BTC has a capacity of 40 beds for Trauma cases while 20 beds for burn patients

The Workers Welfare Fund (WWF), an attached department of Ministry of Overseas Pakistan and Human Resource Development has established 60 bedded Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Burns and Trauma Centre (BTC) in Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar at the cost of Rs711 million. WWF Deputy Director Rana Arsalan said on Monday that the BTC had capacity of 40 beds for Trauma cases while 20 beds for burn patients and having no reconstructive surgery unit adding this Trauma Centre would be remain affiliated with Hayatabad Medical Complex and the land was provided by the provincial government. Arsalan said that as per MoU the K-P health department shall take over the building along with equipment on completion of the project.
