Relatives and co-workers protest killing

KARACHI:

The relatives and fellow employees of a private factory worker in Karachi have alleged that the worker was killed in a fake encounter with the police.

They made the allegation during a protest against the worker Shahbaz's killing.

The protestors alleged that a police officer Rao Tasleem and other policemen raided the factory to arrest Shahbaz. The relatives claimed that Shahbaz did not resist being arrested and was killed by the police. They stated that the police later claimed in the FIR that a pistol had been recovered from Shahbaz.

Relatives of Shahbaz demanded that the case of a fake encounter should be registered against police officer Rao Tasleem and others, and they should be arrested as soon as possible.
