Awareness drive: LTC trains transport workers
LTC officials are creating awareness about the proper observance of traffic rules and regulations
LAHORE:
To create awareness among transport workers about public facilitation, the Lahore Transport Company [LTC] has started special training programmes at various locations for high occupancy vehicle [buses] drivers, fare collectors and related staff.
In this connection, the first training programme was organised at the Royal Artillery Bazaar on Saturday. The programmes are being organised in collaboration with private transport operators for buses being plied on various routes in the city.

Speaking on the occasion, LTC CEO Zafar Qureshi said private transport operators must ensure public transport service standards and monitoring of their buses on the routes for quality transport services.
Deputy General Manager Operations Atif Memon emphasised on maintaining bus headways on scheduled time while private transport operators could seek any sort of guidance from LTC operations department regarding bus operations.
Gesture of hospitality: For Sikh pilgrims, 20 exclusive buses
